Lithuanian World Community leaders gather in Klaipėda
Regional leaders of the Lithuanian World Community are gathering for a meeting in the Lithuanian western port of Klaipėda on Monday.
Participants will discuss Lithuanian-language education abroad and citizenship issues, as well as problems faced by Eastern regions, according to the meeting agenda.
The meeting will also touch upon priorities of the WLC board, its activities during the second year of its term, and financial issues.
The WLC was established in New York in 1958 following the first Seimas of the WLC. The WLC Constitution and the first board were endorsed at the time.
