NATO officials visit Lithuania's Klaipėda seaport
Integration team of the NATO Joint Force Headquarters Brunssum (the Netherlands) visited the Lithuanian seaport of Klaipėda, the port's directorate said on Thursday.
The team was introduced to the port's experience in transporting cargo of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) to and from Afghanistan, as well as the capacities of the port's terminal.
The information is expected to step up integration of Lithuania and Allies, which is necessary during exercises and to improve security in the Baltic states.
