Galvė Cup sailing tournament in Trakai - 6/3-6/5
As if the warm, sunny weather wasn't enough of a reason to visit Trakai this weekend; the Galvė lake surrounding the castle will also be the staging ground for a sailing race tournament this weekend! Whether you're a pro or a casual observer, consider swinging by and watching the competitors harness the wind.
Vilnius Festival by the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society - 6/3, 6/5
This weekend will kick off the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society's three-week festival. The festival's first event will feature Romanian soprano Angela Gheorghiu, and the event on Sunday will feature the performance of string compositions by Faustas Latėnas.
This annual festival will feature a number of international artists who use Balkan and world music melodies and beats to get their listeners dancing and jumping. Balkan-style food will also be served at the venue (note - the map on the Facebook event is wrong!)
