Lithuania to present Expo pavilion at Vilnius Town Hall
Lithuania's pavilion to take part at the Expo 2017 world exposition opening in Astana in two weeks will be presented at the Vilnius Town Hall on Monday.
In the capital of Kazakhstan, Lithuania will present itself as a state that has regained its independence and managed to gain energy independence within a short period of time to furthermore develop alternative future energy without having abundant resources of traditional energy.
The futuristic complex, which has been designed especially for the exposition, features a 530 square meter pavilion that has been built next to pavilions of Italy, the United Kingdom, Finland, Switzerland and other European countries. A unique laser project has been chosen as the image of the exposition, which aims to present Lithuania's energy evolution, with the main focus on the use of renewable energy resources and responsible use of electricity.
