Lithuanians are more upbeat about the country's economic situation but the share of people who think so is still smaller than those with an opposite opinion, a new Eurobarometer survey has revealed.

Across the EU, 49 percent of respondents have a positive opinion about their country's economy, and 47 percent have a negative one.

64 percent of Lithuanians are positive about their household financial situation, and 33 percent are not.

The latest Eurobarometer survey, involving 1,003 people, was carried out on March 17-26.
