Lithuanians still trust firefighters most – survey
People in Lithuania traditionally have most trust in firefighters, the police and the army, and distrust political parties, the parliament and the government, the latest survey by Vilmorus for the Lietuvos Rytas daily, published on Saturday, shows.
89.2 percent trust firefighters in Lithuania, and 1.7 percent distrust them. 63.2 percent have trust and the police, and 9.7 percent distrust it.
58.8 percent trust the army, and 13.7 percent said they don’t.
18.5 percent, 9.5 percent and 7.7 trust the government, the parliament and political parties respectively, and 33.8 percent, 62.6 percent and 64.6 percent respectively don’t trust them.
The survey was carried out on Jul. 5-14.
