Baltic PMs sign agreement on Rail Baltica
The three Baltic prime ministers signed in Tallinn on Tuesday an agreement on the development of the European standard-gauge railway Rail Baltica, expressing their political to implement the project by 2026.
Tomas Beržinskas, the Lithuanian prime minister's spokesman, confirmed this to BNS.
The Lithuanian government approved the draft agreement last week. Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis then said that there were no longer any disagreements over the project.
The agreement is yet to be endorsed by the parliaments of the three countries.
